Iota news chrysalis8/8/2023 The migration process to Chrysalis phase 2 consists of two phases: What follows is an explanation of that migration process. This means that everyone will need to migrate their tokens from the current network to the new one. The new network will support many new use cases and create a foundation for IOTA’s upcoming Coordicide. With Chrysalis we make a clear cut from the current IOTA protocol, and start anew with a much better, and more mature network. This post will provide you with additional information surrounding the upgrade process. It is however recommended that exchanges migrate ahead of the network launch to avoid any interruptions to their service.Recently, we shared more information on Chrysalis, the largest upgrade in the IOTA network’s history. Ultimately there is no practical difference between these two options and you can choose to migrate when you want. Token holders and service providers can migrate their tokens during the migration phase or after the launch of Chrysalis. There will be a one-week, token migration phase that takes place before that, from April 21st to April 28th. The launch of Chrysalis will take place on Wednesday, April 28th. – Dominik Schiener, Co-Founder and Chairman of the IOTA Foundation Our engineers have worked diligently to build the foundation for Coordicide and beyond.” “We now have an enterprise-ready platform that will please both industry and consumer users with its enhanced functionally, industry-standard upgrades, and energy efficiencies.

It also has the standard eclectic team of colleagues helping McCall out, and just enough physical violence to give it some edge. Each episode's plotline is just elaborate enough to ensure that the innocent victims unwittingly caught up in any illegal activities are completely trapped in their situation, and to require McCall's sharp, tough-as-nails military and CIA training to infiltrate and bring wrongdoers to justice. Meanwhile, the folks she identifies as needing her help are mainly Black and Latinx individuals as well as those from other underrepresented communities, victims of systematic racism and other biases.ĭespite these contemporary details, the overall show offers the same type of formulaic drama as other shows in the genre. Spike lee 9 11 documentary8/8/2023 Freed by the massive run time of NYC Epicenters, he can bring an even more granular, detail-oriented approach to his research and reportage on the city-testing crises of 9/11 and Covid-19. For decades, Lee’s narrative features have been keenly attuned to the manifold injustices and corruptions perpetrated by state and private entities alike, from police brutality to sexual abuse in the church. The proliferation of conspiratorial beliefs in America has run parallel to the mounting exposure of very real wrongdoing and collusion, a concept that HBO last explored in their series on the QAnon subculture. From there, it’s only a hop, skip and a jump into tinfoil-hat territory. In his assessment of two landmarks in institutional failure, he lays out the ample cause to distrust the government and their messaging. Even if he hadn’t left in one segment that sees an interview subject suggest that the hijacked Flight 93 crashed in a Pennsylvanian field because it was shot down rather than overtaken by the passengers, there’s a pervasive air of skepticism to Lee’s politicized postmortem. The offending content has been excised, and yet it’s difficult to assess the sprawling whole of this nearly eight-hour project without that context. I Respectfully Ask You To Hold Your Judgment Until You See The FINAL CUT.” Though gun-shy higher-ups at HBO may have applied some pressure, in a statement sent to the press, Lee projected an all-is-well message: “I’m Back In The Editing Room And Looking At The Eighth And Final Chapter Of NYC EPICENTERS 9/11 -> 2021½. The public reacted in a small uproar, and just like that, 30 minutes featuring conspiracy group Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth had vanished from the final edit sent to critics. He went so far as to invoke the conspiracist’s favorited catchphrase – “jet fuel can’t melt steel beams,” he said in so many words – in defending a section of the fourth installment that dips into unfounded theorizing. In a recent New York Times profile, Lee raised plenty of eyebrows by discussing his skepticism about official narratives surrounding the events of September 11, 2001.

Sliced Olives: Olives add to the savory, satisfying flavor to this dish.I strongly believe Applegate Naturals makes the best pepperoni! Pepperoni: We LOVE the savory, salty flavor pepperoni adds to each bite of this pasta salad. You can use a regular or English cucumber. Cucumber: A peeled, seeded, then diced cucumber adds crunch and freshness to this pasta salad recipe.Tomatoes: Typically I use Roma tomatoes in this dish, but feel free to use whatever looks best in your area at the time.If you don’t need to eat gluten free, use regular rotini pasta. I prefer Jovial Brown Rice Rotini vs a corn/rice blend rotini pasta. Pasta: My Grandpa loved this dish made with fettuccini (try it sometime – super fun!) though I usually use gluten free rotini pasta. There, I said it! This dish is chewy, crispy, crunchy, savory, zesty, and zippy, and we make it at least once a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. That said, I humbly believe there is no better pasta salad ingredient combo than mine. Pasta salad is a summer staple in the Midwest and it feels like everyone’s got their own special combination of ingredients that makes their pasta salad the best. )Īhh, the power of The BEST Pasta Salad! Not ONE of his favorite recipes…his VERY favorite recipe…of all time. That said, I can’t tell you how happy it makes me that this pasta salad recipe is also my husband’s favorite recipe. That’s because this recipe was one of his very favorites and he always requested that it be served at special occasions. The recipe for The BEST Pasta Salad has always gone by another name in my family: “ Grandpa’s Pasta Salad“.

Bryce canyon camping with dogs8/8/2023 And I have serious FOMO so you can trust me when I say, you will not feel like you missed out if you follow this itinerary. 6 *optional* viewpoints if you want to check all viewpoints off your bucket list!Īll together, this will be approximately a 9 hour day, so I suggest starting at about 9AM (or earlier, if you’re down!).3 of the best Bryce Canyon hiking trails.Frequently asked questions about the park.Aside from one trail off Highway 12 (which we will be visiting), the park is essentially one long road with 13 viewpoints (and several hiking trails) along the way. You can see all the Bryce Canyon highlights with this one day itinerary (and still have time to spare!).īryce Canyon is actually pretty small – at about 36,000 acres it ranks among the top 15 smallest National Parks. Each one links to the pet section of its NPS listing.Hoodoos, Natural Arches, Waterfalls and more! Below is the complete ranking of every national park according to how dog-friendly it is. We created our ranking of America’s most dog-friendly national parks using the latest available information on the NPS website. Service dogs are permitted on Isle Royale as long as they have a permit whereas service animals are only welcome in the mainland visitor centre on the Channel Islands, hence its position in last place. To protect the islands’ unique wildlife, neither park allows any pets to enter. Imasillypirate/Shutterstock Yosemite in 11th is good for dogsĪt the bottom of the table, unsurprisingly, are the island-based national parks of Isle Royal in Michigan and the Channel Islands in California. The lowest-ranked is Glacier Bay in 60th which only allows leashed pets in a handful of developed areas. It has almost no restrictions for dogs along its trails, in its backcountry or in the Kennecott Mines National Historic Landmark area. Elias is the highest-ranked Alaskan national park. However, not only are Alaska’s parks extremely remote, making them challenging to access, particularly for people with dogs, they are also home to wildlife such as wolves, grizzly bears and moose, all of which are exceptionally dangerous to pups. America’s 49th state is home to six of the 10 least-visited national parks as well as some of the country’s largest tracts of wilderness. The wilds of Alaska should, in theory, be a pooch’s paradise. Kara Arceneaux/Shutterstock Grand Canyon is ranked 10th However, these parks haven’t ranked as highly as others because they have fewer trails – just 42km (26mi) in Hot Springs’ case – and therefore don’t provide an enjoyable experience for dogs or their owners. Some of the more urban parks, such as Hot Springs (12th), have almost no restrictions on where dogs can go. Other top-performing national parks are Petrified Forest, New River Gorge and White Sands, which are all pretty lenient with where dogs can go. Some trails are off-limits to pets while others are not recommended for safety reasons. Shenandoah is closely followed by Acadia – New England’s only national park – which has 161km (100mi) of hiking trails and 72km (45mi) of carriage roads where dogs are allowed. The park is also within easy reach of Washington DC and allows dogs in all campgrounds and in pullouts on Skyline Drive, the stunning public road running 169km (105mi) along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This includes the 186km (115.5 mi) of the Appalachian Trail that traverses the park. Of its 800km (500mi) of hiking trails, only 32km (20mi) are off-limits to dogs. Sandra Foyt/Shutterstock White Sands is great for dogs We’ve ranked Shenandoah National Park in Virginia as the most dog-friendly national park in America. What makes a national park dog-friendly depends on several metrics including how many miles of dog-accessible trails the park has, how safe it is for your dog and the local flora and fauna, if there are pet-friendly lodgings (including campgrounds) nearby, if there are local kennel services available, if viewpoints are accessible to dogs, and if there are any travel restrictions which could stop you and your dog accessing the park. JOSEPH GRUBER/SHUTTERSTOCK Shenandoah is America’s most dog-friendly national park What makes them dog-friendly? Wrangell–St Elias National Park and Preserve, Alaska.New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, West Virginia.Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona. These are the 10 most dog-friendly national parks in the USA.

Stratford Rd, Winston-Salem (Stratford Rd) There is an abundance of restaurants in Winston-Salem that serve some degree of American food. Winston-Salem Restaurants : Category Listing (Alphabetical)Īmerican restaurants bring together the best of our different regions, ethnic groups and traditions to create something unique and different. And in each category, we’ve included a suggested list of best bets based on quality, price, service and value. Instead, we tried to focus on the independents or local chains. Again, nothing personal, but if you’re staying in a hotel you’ll know about them. The list also leaves out hotel restaurants. It also does not include national chains – you can find them listed in the phone book or with a quick web search. New restaurants open and close every day, sometimes with little notice. The Winston-Salem restaurant list below should not be considered comprehensive. Interested in Korean, Brazilian or African? You’ll need to get in the car and drive to Greensboro or the Triangle. But if you want Middle Eastern, El Salvadoran, Cuban or Vietnamese, you have about one choice in town. Sure, there is an abundance of Mexican, sushi and Chinese takeout. What Winston-Salem lacks is a broad range of ethnic and international flavors. Where are the Ethnic and International Flavors? Farm-to-table restaurants that buy local fresh produce from area farms (many organic) are on the rise. There is plenty of traditional American fare from dirt-cheap to surprisingly expensive southern and comfort food restaurants from cafeteria style to white-table cloth establishments and a heavy dose of diners. When seeking Winston-Salem restaurants, you can find examples of almost all the large chains, from steakhouses to international fare to fast-food burger and fries. But if you are willing to get away from the city’s main retail areas, you can find a good range of food choices at moderate prices. This week, new cases of inappropriate content prompted high-profile responses, including from Disney and Nestle, which pulled advertising from YouTube after a blogger described "a wormhole into a soft-core pedophilia ring" on the site. There are also a number of other ways for parents to make the app safer, but non of them are automatic. In November 2017, the company outlined a new set of guidelines, including "faster enforcement" of community guidelines and "blocking inappropriate comments." In April last year, YouTube announced three new parental control features to give parents the ability to curate what their child is seeing on the app. Since the backlash in 2017, YouTube has outlined steps it is taking to improve safety on its Kids app. "We agree this content is unacceptable and are committed to making the app better every day." "The YouTube Kids team is made up of parents who care deeply about this, so it's extremely important for us to get this right, and we act quickly when videos are brought to our attention," a YouTube spokeswoman told CNET at the time. Other videos at the time featured Mickey Mouse in a pool of blood and Spider-Man urinating on Elsa, the princess from "Frozen," prompting backlash. In 2017, searching the word "gun" on the app surfaced a video on how to build a coil gun, Mashable reported. However, YouTube kids has a history of letting disturbing and violent videos slipping past its algorithms. We are always working to improve our systems and to remove violative content more quickly, which is why we report our progress in a quarterly report and give users a dashboard showing the status of videos they've flagged to us." "Every quarter we remove millions of videos and channels that violate our policies and we remove the majority of these videos before they have any views. "We rely on both user flagging and smart detection technology to flag this content for our reviewers," the spokesperson said. She said many of the kids she treats in the ER list videos on YouTube as a method used to learn destructive behaviors and self-harm techniques.Ī YouTube spokesperson told CBS News on Friday the site works hard "to ensure YouTube is not used to encourage dangerous behavior." The spokesperson also said YouTube has "strict policies" that prohibit videos that promote self-harm. The videos Hess has found contain mentions or visuals of self-harm, suicide, sexual exploitation, trafficking, domestic violence, sexual abuse and gun violence, including a simulated school shooting. She said she logs onto the app posing as a child, rather than an adult, so that she can see exactly what kids around the world are seeing. Absolutely awful," Hess said about some of the content on the YouTube Kids app. YouTube Kids is meant to be a kid-friendly version of YouTube site for children who are 8 years old and under, but trolls have founds ways around YouTube's algorithm and are posting potentially harmful videos. I don't understand how it's not getting caught." "Once you start looking into it, things get darker and weirder. "I had to stop, but I could have kept going," Hess said. On Friday, she found and reported seven more disturbing videos on YouTube Kids, and said they were just the tip of the iceberg. She said she's reported hundreds of unsettling videos to YouTube, with some success. It does not store any personal data.Hess said after seeing higher rates of suicide in children in her own emergency room over the last few years, she made it her mission to bring awareness to disturbing and violent content being consumed by children on social media. Cash envelope tracker8/8/2023 Or if the clothing envelope is empty, we can hold off on new clothing purchases until the following month. If our grocery envelope runs out, we can get creative by challenging ourselves to make meals using only items we have in the pantry or freezer. If the cash in a particular category is depleted before the month ends, we should try our hardest not to spend any more money in that category until our cash envelopes are refilled. What if I run out of money in my cash envelope before the end of the month? Remember: The amount of cash in each envelope is the only money we have to spend in that category for that designated period of time, so it’s important to track accurately and plan our spending appropriately. Once the purchase is complete, we can document it on the card on the front of the envelope so we always have an accurate total of how much we have left to spend. Now it’s time to put our budget into action! Each time we make a purchase in a particular category– groceries, for example– we’ll be sure to pay with the cash that we’ve allotted in our cash envelope. Stick to the budgeted amounts in the cash envelopes! (If you prefer to keep track of your spending on binder pages, snag our free printable check register here.) 3. Once we’ve created a budget and know how much we’re allotting for each category, it’s time to put together our cash envelopes… And we just so happen to have a pretty printable for that!Īfter the cash envelopes are complete, write the category and budgeted amount (starting balance) on the front of each one, and fill each envelope with the appropriate amount of cash. Some common cash envelope categories are… Though our budget will also include amounts for recurring spending (like mortgage/rent, car payment, student loans, etc.), cash envelopes will only be used for variable spending. What are common cash envelope categories? Based on our past spending, we can set a goal amount for future spending by category. Our free printable Budget Binder can help with this! We can look at past bank statements to figure out how much we’re spending in each category per month. If you’d like to try the cash envelope system for budgeting in your home, here are the steps you can follow to do so. Learn more about tracking recurring expenses here.) (Cash envelopes are generally used for variable expenses. The cash envelope system is helpful because it allows us to physically see how much money we have available to spend in any particular category. When the cash in the envelope runs out, there is no more spending in that category for the remainder of the month (or pay period). Made popular by Dave Ramsey, the cash envelope system (also known as “cash stuffing”) involves setting a budget amount for each category of variable spending, putting that amount of cash into an envelope, and only using the money in the envelope to pay for items in that category.
